Sponsored by The City of Asheville, Buncombe County, Self-Help Ventures Fund (“Self-Help”), Carolina Small Business, and Mountain BizWorks, the Mountain Community Capital Fund (MCCF) is aimed at providing debt financing to small business enterprises within the city of Asheville and Buncombe County.
Mountain Community Capital Fund Operating Committee Documents (meeting materials, annual reports, annual work plans, governing documents, enabling statutes, resolutions, ordinances, etc.)
The Operating Committee shall be comprised of two (2) members of City staff to be appointed by the City of Asheville, two (2) members of County staff to be appointed by Buncombe County, two (2) community stakeholders to be appointed by the City of Asheville and two (2) community stakeholders to be appointed by Buncombe County, as well as representatives of Participating Lenders. The term of office is two years. Notwithstanding the foregoing, all members appointed by the Asheville City Council shall serve at the pleasure of Council, and may be removed at any time with or without cause.
The Mountain Community Capital Fund Operating Committee meets at 9:00 a.m. on the first Friday of each month at City Hall, in the sixth-floor training room. Meetings are in-person.
