A complete list of application forms and resources are listed below by project type: Build a New House Build an Addition to or Remodel a House Build a Detached Structure or Deck Repair or Install a New Home System Apply for a Homestay Permit Apply for a Home-Based Business Permit Submit completed forms and applications in-person at the Permit Application Center (PAC) or online through the Development Portal. The online application provides instructions for submitting a complete application. Incompleteness will add time to the review and approval process. DSD’s Permit Application Center (PAC) is located at 161 South Charlotte Street and open Monday to Friday to assist customers from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (closed on public holidays).
