Civilian Positions (Non-police)

APPLICATION PROCESS
The steps in the application process for all civilian positions include:

  • Submission of a completed and truthful application
  • Panel interview
  • Background investigation, including a polygraph examination
  • Drug screen

Safety-sensitive positions, such as telecommunicators, require both a health assessment and a psychological evaluation.
