PUBLIC NOTICE: $1.6M CDBG Program Income / Sale of Charlotte Street Parcels (White Labs)

The City of Asheville has prepared a draft Amendment to the 2020-21 Action Plan, a summary of which can be found here. The Amendment to the Annual Action Plan for 2020-21 sets out how the City of Asheville plans to allocate an estimated $1.6 M in Community Development Block Grant Program Income (CDBG PI) funds. The staff report and resolution will be posted on the internet here after 3 pm on Friday March 19 2021 and is also available at the Community and Economic Development Dept., 5th floor of City Hall, upon request. A public hearing on the plan will be held virtually at the City Council meeting starting at 5 pm on Tuesday March 23, 2021, with a formal vote to follow on April 13 2021. Information on how to submit public comment at the meeting as well as access to live streaming can be found at https://publicinput.com/hub/88 Written comments should be sent to: Paul D’Angelo, Community Development Program Director, City of Asheville, P.O.
