We work closely with local businesses, schools, and neighborhoods to keep our community safe. Led by Captain Jonathan Brown, our team includes a Lieutenant, Sergeants, School Resource Officers, and Community Resource Officers. How We Serve Asheville In Schools: Our School Resource Officers help create safe learning environments and build trust with students. In Neighborhoods: Community Resource Officers act as a bridge between the police and your neighborhood to solve problems together. Emotional Support: Officer Kora helps officers and residents connect by providing emotional support during community events. Complex Challenges: We work on proactive solutions for challenges like homelessness, substance misuse, and mental health.
