PARDON OUR DUST @ CARRIER PARK!

We're causing a lot of dust at Carrier Park!  Phase 2 of improvements to one of Asheville's favorite parks includes tearing out the track and regrading, rebuilding, and repaving a new one.  We're also reworking the drainage system to improve usage of the park after rains. So for now, the track is closed, but the interior of the park is still accessible via the pedestrian bridge.  Basketball, volleyball, inline hockey and the playground are all still available during this phase of construction.  This phase is scheduled to be completed by the end of November. The next phase of improvements at this park will include a rebuilding of the lawn bowling court located between the track and the picnic shelter area.  We'll keep you posted!
