We offer afterschool for youth and teens in locations conveniently located across the City. Programming includes age-appropriate activities, including homework help, organized games, free play, crafts, and more. Our teen programs also include the chance to participate in community service projects to build responsibility and maturity. We're causing a lot of dust at Carrier Park! Phase 3 of improvements involves the demolition and reconstruction of the lawn bowling green! There are still a few tweaks being made to the interior of the park, so don't be surprised to find us still working in there too.

We're excited to kick-off the 2018 season of Movies in the Park and glad to have our partner, Black Orthodontics, back with us for the summer. The fun begins at 6:30 pm with crafts and activities for the whole family and the movie begins at dusk. Food will be available in the park too! So bring your family, friends, a blanket or a chair and come watch a movie under the stars! Here's this season's line-up:

Malvern Hills Pool
Don't miss Asheville's Inaugural Cardboard Regatta in Malvern Hills Pool (75 Rumbough Place in West Asheville). Build your best cardboard boat this summer and be ready to test its seaworthiness with your shipmates at the pool. Teams will race across the pool and vie for awards in various categories. Requirements for teams, boat materials, rules & awards are available online. Teams must register in advance by clicking here. Pack Square Park
Join us for our 2nd Annual Triathlon just for toddlers 3 to 5 years old. Kids will bike, run and splash their way through Pack Square Park. Participants should provide their own bike and helmet for the race. A limited number of bikes are available upon request with advance notice. Free bike and helmet check for all riders.
