 The City Council budget briefing for March 24 at 3:00 p.m. has been cancelled.

Mayor Esther Manheimer, Councilwoman Sheneika Smith and Councilman Keith Young will participate fully in this meeting by phone, including any public hearings and votes.

Until further notice, due to the locally declared state of emergency, there will be no public attendance at Council meetings. Public comment will be taken digitally on all items, with the following guidelines:  (1) any public comment must be sent in by 5:00 p.m. the day before the meeting to the google form or by calling in to 259-5900 and leaving a voicemail; (2) must state which agenda item you are commenting on, or if it is for informal discussion; and (3) must be no more than 350 words. We encourage anyone wishing to attend the Council meeting — including news media — to instead watch it via the City’s live stream at this link.

A.   Procedural Motions:

  1.  Motion to  allow remote participation by up to three Council members during public meetings during the duration of the locally declared state of emergency.  (Only Council members present to vote on this.)
  2. Motion to delegate to the City Manager the authority to cancel any regularly scheduled meetings of the City Council during the duration of the locally declared state of emergency.
  3. Motion to suspend the City Council Rules regarding public comment to state that public comment will be taken digitally on all items, with the following guidelines:  (1) any public comment must be sent in by 5:00 p.m. the day before the meeting to the google form or by calling in to 259-5900 and leaving a voicemail; (2) must state which agenda item you are commenting on, or if it is for informal discussion; and (3) must be no more than 350 words.

B.   Approval of the minutes of the formal meeting held on March 10, 2020; and the City
Council annual retreat held on March 13, 2020.  

C.   Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute an amendment to the existing Transit
Consulting Contract with InfraStrategies, LLC.    Documents

Associates to perform engineering services for the Neighborhood Enhancement Projects
