Here are some tips for making InDesign documents accessible:

• Logical layout: Design content so it reads left to right, top to bottom
• Use headings: Use Heading 1 for the title, Heading 2 for main sections, and Heading 3 for sub-sections. Headings should clearly describe the topic
• Use paragraph styles: Create paragraph styles and associate each with a specific PDF tag. You can do this by going to Window > Styles > Paragraph Styles

1. Add alt text to images: Right click on an image, select Object Export Options, and then Alt Text
2. Set reading order: Use the Articles panel to establish the order in which content should be read
3. Assign metadata: Add metadata to the document
4. Mark table headers: Select the top row(s) of a table as headers to help screen reader users navigate the data
