City of Asheville offices will be closed Friday, July 3 in observance of the Independence Day holiday. Saturday, July 4, the City, along with our Asheville Downtown Association partner, is a proud producer of the Independence Day Block Party presented by Ingles.
On July 4, 1776 representatives from 13 colonies gathered in Philadelphia to sign the Declaration of Independence. We invite our community to celebrate the birth of our nation with a day of free, fun, family-friendly events. As we gather to recognize 250 years of America, please be aware of how these observances and celebrations may impact services or roads you use.
