The City of Asheville partners with Asheville GreenWorks to provide the Adopt-a-Street Program. Groups and organizations are encouraged to help reduce litter by participating in Asheville’s Adopt-A-Street program. Participants agree to pick up litter from their adopted street at least six times per year. Each year, participants remove thousands of pounds of litter from roadsides. Asheville GreenWorks will provide you with bags, safety vests and gloves for your clean-ups. The City of Asheville will provide signs on your street in recognition of your litter reduction efforts!
