City of Asheville announces City Council Meeting: September 8, 2026
At the September 8 meeting, City Council will consider both Helene recovery and non-recovery related items, including continued investment in our community’s youth through the CAYLA program, and continued Helene recovery funding going to both critical infrastructure, like a temporary bridge at Gashes Creek, and other community assets. All City Council sessions are open to the public and live streams are available on the City's YouTube channel.
