Building Code Enforcement Financial Report Last updated or reviewed on September 29, 2023 As required by the State Statute cited below the City is posting to its website the fiscal year 2023 General Fund revenues and expenses associated with the Permits and Inspections Division of the Development Services Department and the Fire Marshal’s Office Division of the Fire Department. We have also posted the fiscal year 2023 Technology Fee revenues and expenses recorded in our General Capital Projects Multi-Year Fund. Technology Fee revenues in the General Capital Projects Multi-Year Fund are set aside to fund expenses that may occur across multiple fiscal years. § 160D-1102. Building code administration. (c) No later than October 1 of 2023, 2024, and 2025, every local government shall publish an annual financial report on how it used fees from the prior fiscal year for the support, administration, and implementation of its building code enforcement program as required by G.S. 160D-402(d). This report is in addition to any other financial report required by law.
