Project Overview

The proposed Swannanoa River Greenway will stretch from the intersection of Lyman Street and Amboy Road to the city limits located at Azalea Road and Tunnel Road. Since the Swannanoa River Greenway corridor stretches 7.5 miles in its entirety, greenway construction will occur in segments, rather than be completed at once.

“Segment 1” of the Swannanoa River Greenway will begin at the intersection of Glendale Avenue and Thompson Street, and tie into an existing portion of the greenway that ends at Bleachery Boulevard.

More information on the project scope and status can be found on the project page.
