ART bus service routes and facilities will operate on a holiday schedule which is the same as the Sunday schedule. Holiday schedules are available in English, Spanish, and Russian

Sanitation
Sanitation services will not be impacted as trash/recycling pickup runs Monday through Thursday.

Friday, April 3: Administrative offices are closed.

Friday, April 3 & Sunday, April 5: All community center buildings are closed.

Outdoor features such as playgrounds, picnic areas, and sports courts adjacent to community center buildings are open all weekend from 6 a.m.-10 p.m. on both days.

All parks and Greenways are open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Community & Regional Entertainment Facilities

The iHeart Media Asheville Box Office at Harrah’s Cherokee Center – Asheville will be closed Friday, April 3. The box office will reopen on Monday, April 6.

Aston Park Tennis Center remains open on Good Friday (April 3) and Easter Sunday (April 5).

The Asheville Municipal Golf & Disc Golf Course remains open on Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

The WNC Nature Center remains open on Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
Water Resources
Staff will be on 24-hour availability for water-related emergencies over the holiday. Customers can call the customer service line at (828) 251-1122 to report water-related emergencies, leaks, breaks, or service interruptions. Water Resources’ 24/7 staffing of our water treatment facilities continues throughout the holiday.
Public Safety
All public safety services, including police, fire, and emergency response, will operate on a normal schedule – 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
