Outdoor Dining

The City offers permits for the service of food or beverages within the public right-of-way (sidewalks and streets) in connection with an adjacent business through the outdoor dining program.

Outdoor Merchandise

The City offers permits for the display of goods on public sidewalks in connection with an adjacent business through an outdoor merchandise permit.

Pushcarts

The City supports the display and sales of food or merchandise from a free-standing cart on public sidewalks through the pushcart program. 

A-Frame Signs

Temporary free-standing signs on public sidewalks that can be displayed in association with an adjacent business.

Food Trucks

Preparation and service of food or beverages from a mobile, self-contained unit can be permitted on private property. Food truck permitting is also offered on public property in all non-residential districts except the CBD (Downtown) and Biltmore Village. In addition, food trucks are permitted in association with outdoor special events.
