What’s Up AVL!

The City of Asheville’s bi-monthly radio show allows the community to take a deep dive with the City of Asheville department staff.

You can learn about various projects, programs, or initiatives that are underway in your community.

In this episode of What’s Up, AVL!, host Sam Parada speaks with Sydney Monshaw, Homeless Strategy Specialist,  about the Asheville-Buncombe Continuum of Care (CoC), their current work, and how you can participate.

The Asheville-Buncombe Continuum of Care is the collaborative planning body responsible for developing and overseeing a comprehensive and well-coordinated system of effective services designed to quickly resolve occurrences of homelessness.  Through membership in the Continuum of Care, stakeholders elect a board of directors, serve on committees and work groups, and take action together to respond to homelessness in Asheville and Buncombe County.
