The City IT team will be conducting an upgrade of the City’s GIS (Geographic Information System) on March 14th and 15th, 2024. As a result, all GIS services, including Simplicity, Map Asheville, REST Services, GIS Dashboards, Web Maps, and Open Data Portal data, will be temporarily unavailable during the upgrade period.
What: ArcGIS Enterprise Upgrade – GIS Services will be down
When: Thursday, March 14, 8:00 a.m. – Friday, March 15, 2024, 5:00 p.m.
Action Required:
Please mark your calendars and plan accordingly for the outage. We recommend saving any work and preparing for the downtime to minimize any potential disruptions to your workflow.
