Open City Hall topic: Planned one-way street designation

Posted on May 16, 2016October 7, 2019 by Web Editors - CAPE

City staff have launched an Open City Hall topic on a planned one-way designation of a small portion of South Beaumont Street. This would be in connection with the Beaucatcher Greenway, designed to be part of the  River to Ridge Greenway and Trail Network.

This change would directly impact about 100 vehicles per day that are now accessing South Beaumont Street from College Street. Greenways and Transportation staff want to know about possible issues residents may notice so they can be addressed during the planning phase prior to construction.

Please go to Open City Hall Asheville, read the background, look at the maps and provide your feedback. We appreciate your participation! This topic will be up through May 30.
