Not every Asheville neighborhood has a community center, but that doesn’t stop Asheville Parks & Recreation (APR) from bringing games, art projects, and fun treasures to different areas of the city in a color van named Rec ‘n’ Roll. Families are invited to stoke their imaginations at Monday Imagination Days with free open play, Wednesday Theme Days with activities tied to a unique subject, and free pop-ups where anything can happen.
To find out where Rec ‘n’ Roll will be next, sign up for the APR Parents & Families newsletter. New dates may be added throughout the summer, so check often.
