City of Asheville Customer Services phone line to change hours of operation

We’re changing our hours and changing the quality of service we provide you.

Starting July 1, the City of Asheville’s main Customer Services phone line, 828-251-1122, will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

From 8 to 9 a.m., our customer services representatives will be working on non-phone related customer requests such as leak adjustments, change of addresses and E-bill registrations. With undivided attention to our phone customers starting at 9 a.m. your wait time to talk to a friendly representative will be shorter.

Walk-in services are still available 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at Asheville City Hall, 70 Court Plaza, downtown.
