The next meeting of the Asheville City Council will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2024. The meeting will be held in the Council Chamber on the 2nd Floor of City Hall, 70 Court Plaza.

Where to Watch
The City Council meeting will be live on Charter/Spectrum Channel 193, streamed on the City’s YouTube Channel, or through the City’s Virtual Engagement Hub accessible through the front page of the City website.
In-Person Comment
Persons wishing to speak live at the meeting will be required to attend in person and must sign-up at the door before entering the Council Chamber.

Presentations at the Meeting
For those wishing to make a slide or PowerPoint presentation at a formal meeting of the City Council, the presentation must be submitted to Maggie Burleson at mburleson@ashevillenc.gov by 12:00 p.m. on Monday, May 13, 2024.

To accommodate those who do not yet feel secure attending in person or those who have other barriers to participating in person, the City Council will continue to accept remote comments via email or voicemail through the Engagement Hub until 9 a.m. the day of the City Council meeting.

If you are attending the City Council meeting, free parking will be available in the two city employee parking lots along Marjorie Street after 4:30 p.m. the day of the meeting.
