FEMA Obligates $11 Million in Recovery Funding for Asheville

The City of Asheville announces today that approximately $11 million in additional federal funding has been approved by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to support recovery efforts following the impacts of Tropical Storm Helene. These funds will be directed toward critical water system projects that will help protect the city’s watershed and strengthen long-term community resilience.
