Following a weekend of snow and icy roads, local bus service schedules were modified this morning. By this afternoon, routes were expanded, though some are a bit curtailed.
While Asheville Public Works crews worked around the clock clearing and salting roads, black ice remains a hazard with the bitter cold that continues in Asheville.
Here is the modified schedule for Monday, January 9, 2017:
