A temporary closure of the south end of Wilma Dykeman Greenway in the River Arts District (from near Foundy Street to Amboy Road) begins September 17 as part of Metropolitan Sewerage District’s Carrier Bridge Pump Station Replacement/Upgrade project and is may remain in place for four months. Please detour to the sidewalk on the east side of Lyman Street.

Running through the River Arts District, Wilma Dykeman Greenway has trailheads at the Amboy Road-Lyman Street intersection and the Hill Street-Riverside Drive intersection. Sidewalks on Craven Street and Amboy Road bridges connect to French Broad River Greenway on the other side of the river.
