The next meeting of the Asheville City Council will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, October 22. It will be held in the Council Chamber on the 2nd Floor of City Hall, 70 Court Plaza.
The Council meeting agenda is posted on the City’s website.
Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute § 143-318.10 this will be an in-person meeting that the public can access remotely.
Where to Watch
The City Council meeting will be live on Charter/Spectrum Channel 193, streamed on the City’s YouTube Channel, or through the City’s Virtual Engagement Hub accessible through the front page of the City website.
In-Person Comment
Persons wishing to speak live at the meeting will be required to attend in person and must sign-up at the door before entering the Council Chamber.
Additionally, comments can be directly emailed to Council at any time at: ashevillenccouncil@ashevillenc.gov.

Presentations at the Meeting
For those wishing to make a slide or PowerPoint presentation at a formal meeting of the City Council, the presentation must be submitted to Maggie Burleson at mburleson@ashevillenc.gov by 12 p.m. Monday, October 21.

To accommodate those who do not yet feel secure attending in person or those who have other barriers to participating in person, the City Council will continue to accept remote comments via email or voicemail through the Engagement Hub until 9 a.m. the day of the City Council meeting.

Parking Available
If you are attending the City Council meeting, free parking will be available in the two city employee parking lots along Marjorie Street after 4:30 p.m. the day of the meeting.
