icy roads
possible icy road conditions. Be cautious

The National Weather Service  has issued a winter weather advisory through 7a.m. Saturday. Residents in Buncombe County can plan on slippery road conditions, possibly as early as this evening’s commute.  The wind chill, which could drop to as low as 10 below zero, poses a real threat of hypothermia if precautions aren’t taken. Those winds could stay with us through 4p.m. Saturday according to the forecast. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result

It could be an icy morning in some areas for drivers. So please, stay safe and  limit driving as black ice remains a concern.
