“See Something, Say Something”
The Asheville Police Department wants you to report anything suspicious. You know what is “normal” for your daily routine. This makes you the best person to notice when:
- Something is left somewhere it shouldn’t be.
- Someone is acting in a way that doesn’t seem right.
If you see something that feels wrong, say something!
Submit an Anonymous Tip with TIP2APD
The Asheville Police Department uses a tool called TIP2APD to help neighbors fight crime. This app lets you send anonymous tips to the police. Officers can text you back to ask questions, but they will not know who you are.
How to use TIP2APD
Note: This tool is only for non-emergencies. If you need help right away, always call 911.
There are two ways to send a tip:

Use the App: Download the free “AshevillePD” app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.

Use Text Message: If you do not have a smartphone, text the keyword TIP2APD and your message to 847411.
