The City has provided this online calculator to simplify the process of calculating how much existing tree canopy must be preserved, planted or a combination of planting and preservation for a land development project to comply with Article XIX of the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO).  This calculator can also assist in determining the amount of the fee-in-lieu of compliance payment should a development site be unable to meet the requirements of the UDO through preservation or planting.
