The Asheville Police Department works to identify areas in the city where crashes happen most often. We aim to make these roads safer in two ways:

  1. Better Road Design: Working with the NCDOT and City Traffic Engineering to improve how roads are built.

  2. Traffic Law Enforcement: Using police patrols to stop dangerous driving and enforce motor vehicle laws.

What to Include in Your Request:

To help us respond quickly, please provide the following details:

  • The Problem: (Example: Speeding, running stop signs, or reckless driving)

  • The Location: The specific street or intersection.

  • The Time: What days and times the problem usually happens.
