Police Junior Academy
The Asheville Police Department is hosting a Junior Police Academy this summer! It is a great chance for students to learn what it’s really like to be a police officer.
Program Details
- When: June 15-19, 2026
- Who can join: High school students ages 14 to 18 who are interested in law enforcement
- What to expect: You will learn about police work and practice basic skills. Be ready to work hard! It will be a challenge for both your body and mind!
How to apply
Fill out the Summer 2026 JPA Interest Form now. The department will contact you when it is time to officially apply. Applications open on April 1, 2026, and will close on May 1, 2026.
