City road clearing crews will continue to operate around the clock until road conditions improve. Crews are working on clearing priority 1 and 2 roads at this time. You can find you street or area using our Snow Mapper. While this doesn’t have real-time route tracking, it does indicate what roads are priority one, two, private and those under our NCDOT partner’s responsibility.
We know everyone is anxious to have their street cleared. As we are using best practices clearing our community ‘s roadways, there is no need to request clearing through the Asheville App. We appreciate your patience as our teams work day and night to keep you moving forward.

Critical reminder to the public about parking:
- Please continue to keep parked cars off the road side. This allows snow plows and treatment vehicles to safely and effectively clear roads. Parked vehicles are one of the biggest barriers to effective snow removal.
- All City-owned parking garages remain open, free of charge, through 10:00 p.m. Monday (2/2).
- If off street parking is not an option in your neighborhood, we ask that all cars be parked on the same side of the street.
- Residents and businesses are reminded that pushing snow from parking lots or driveways into the street creates operational issues and street clearing delays.
