On any given day you will find people snapping pictures of themselves in front of Asheville City Hall. The distinctive, eight-story eclectic Art Deco masterpiece designed by Douglas D. Ellington and built in the 1920s serves as a perfect placemaking backdrop for visitors and locals alike.
