As part of the River Arts District Transportation Improvement Project (RADTIP), the City of Asheville is asking residents to help determine how public art will be integrated into the RADTIP project area.
The project area is a 2.2-mile corridor along Riverside Drive that runs from Hill Street to Amboy Road. The City of Asheville is committed to integrating public art into the RADTIP project, and we value your opinion about how this will happen.
Please take and share the RADTIP Public Art Survey before Feb. 26, and/or join a public engagement meeting. There will be two opportunities to join a meeting this month.
RADTIP public art meetings will be held:
Saturday, February 13, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Dr. Wesley Grant / Southside Center, 285 Livingston St.
Tuesday, February 16, 5:30 – 7 p.m. (immediately following the River Arts District Artists regular meeting) at Odyssey Ceramic Arts, 326 Clingman Ave.
The purpose of these meetings will be to gather public input on how public art will be incorporated in to the RADTIP project area. Meetings will be facilitated by the Asheville Design Center.
