Howl-o-Ween comes to WNC Nature Center

On Saturday, October 27 the WNC Nature Center will host their annual Howl-O-Ween event from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.  The event features games, crafts, special animal education moments, food vendors and two costume contests.

Attendees are encouraged to come dressed in costume and to take part in one of the two children’s costume contests offered at the event at 12:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Kids can make crafts, get temporary tattoos, have their face painted (additional fees apply), and watch exciting animal programs with furry and feathered animal ambassadors.

Food will be available for purchase from Crazy Mama’s food truck and The Nibble and Sip snack cart. Regular Nature Center admission rates apply; Friends members receive free admission. Additional event information available at wildwnc.org/event/howl-o-ween and through the WNC Nature Center’s Facebook page.

The Friends of the WNC Nature Center appreciate the support and generosity of this year’s sponsors: Festiva and The Biltmore.
