The City of Asheville offices will be closed in observance of Memorial Day, May 26, a federally designated holiday that honors military personnel who have died in the performance of their military duties while serving in the United States Armed Forces.
Asheville City Council authorized the City to amend the interlocal agreement with Buncombe County to provide additional funding for the County’s rental assistance program at their May 13 meeting. This agreement will now be considered at the Buncombe County Commission meeting on May 20, 2025.
