It is with great pleasure the City of Asheville announces the imminent graduation and college enrollment of all 24 high school seniors who participated in the 2024 City of Asheville Youth Leadership Academy (CAYLA) program.
This past Saturday, May 18, the City, parents, and students proudly celebrated the participants’ program graduation.
According to CAYLA Program Manager, Promise Boseman, “These students have exhibited remarkable diligence and perseverance to reach this milestone. Throughout this year, I have consistently observed their exceptional commitment and strong leadership skills. These young individuals demonstrate an unparalleled drive and always take the initiative to go above and beyond when doing anything that is required of them. I couldn’t be more proud of them.”
