The City of Asheville invites the community to meet the final candidates for the next chief of the Asheville Police Department.
In partnership with Police Executive Research Forum (PERF) consultants, a nationwide search was performed and the candidate pool has been narrowed.
Join us at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, on the First Floor Conference Room, Buncombe County Administration Building, 200 College St.
Final candidates will introduce themselves to the community and briefly discuss their leadership vision. After introductions candidates will be available to socialize with the community until 8:30 p.m.
Asheville City Manager Debra Campbell plans to name a new chief by the beginning of January.
