Do you have items cluttering your home that are still in good condition? Or are you looking for some free items ahead of the holidays? If so, come to the City’s Holiday Free Store on Dec 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at the Dr. Wesley Grant Sr. Southside Community Center.
Free stores are a lot of work and we need volunteers to help sort donations and set up the space. If you can lend a hand, please sign up for a shift using this volunteer form.
In addition to the items listed on the flyer for donation, the Holiday Free Store needs the following items in good, clean condition:
- Milk crates
- Reusable bags
- Clothes hangers
- Corrugated cardboard boxes (different sizes are preferred; collapsed or constructed OK)
- Portable clothing racks (preferably ones with wheels)
Please make sure that any items you bring for donation are clean and in good working order. We look forward to seeing you at the Holiday Free Store!
