With the ground saturated, wind gusts may lead to downed trees and power lines. Conditions may also contribute to localized landslides.
Residents are urged to call 911 to report landslides, downed power lines or downed trees in roadways and public property.
Power outages should be reported to Duke Energy Progress at 1-800-419-6356.
