City of Asheville on a 2-hour delay and other service impacts for March 17

Asheville City Government offices will operate on 2 hour delayed opening due to inclement weather and icy secondary road conditions. ART Transit will be running a reduced service on W1 starting 6 a.m. Buses will be available on Haywood Road once per hour through at least 8:00 a.m.  

Community Center Impacts

Inclement Weather Sites

Linwood Crump Shiloh Community Center, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 
Tempie Avery Montford Community Center, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Closed Centers 

Murphy-Oakley Community Center
Burton Street Community Center

Community Centers open today 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m.

Dr. Wesley Grant, Sr. Southside Community Center
Grove Street Community Center – No senior meals will be served.
Harvest House Community Center
Stephens-Lee Community Center

WNC Nature Center will operate on a 2 hour delay, opening the gates to visitors at noon today.
