On August 11, the City of Asheville will hold the second of two public workshops to gather public input on City code considerations that seek to allow for more small-scale residential infill development. It will be held at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 11 at the U.S. Cellular Center, Second Floor Banquet Hall.
Approximately 100 people attended the first workshop on July 14 to gather public input on city code considerations that seek to allow for more small-scale residential infill development. The workshop began with staff analysis and initial considerations, followed by an hour of small group discussion where attendees provided feedback to small-group facilitators. The August 11 workshop will follow the same format.

Online input available as well
Also, the considerations for neighborhood-compatible, small-scale residential infill development are still available for online participation and comment through Open City Hall Asheville. The online survey will remain open through August 30.
