Public engagement for Asheville’s first Urban Forest Master Plan is underway. This community-driven plan will guide urban tree canopy management for the City over the next two decades.
The public is invited to a 2-hour workshop to share their feedback and learn more about planning for a thriving urban forest. In honor of NC Arbor Day on March 20, participants will receive bare-root tree seedlings to plant at home. Because of space limitations, pre-registration is required for this event.
