Asheville City Manager, Debra Campbell, is pleased to announce that Cheryl Brown will serve as Interim Human Resources Director. Cheryl’s official first day was on March 11.

“I am excited to have Cheryl Brown serve as our Interim Human Resources Director,” says Debra Campbell, “Her experience and knowledge will support the good work our Human Resources team is doing and ensure critical HR services are provided to the organization while we search for a new Human Resources Director.”

“I am very excited and energized to be working with the City of Asheville,” said Cheryl Brown.  “Everyone has been extremely welcoming and I am enjoying getting to know the HR Team and other city staff.  The HR Team has a lot on its plate and I look forward to helping move some pending projects forward prior to the arrival of the new HR Director.”
