The next meeting of the Community Reparations Commission will take place 6:00 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2022. Harrah’s Cherokee Center Banquet Hall at 87 Haywood Street.
While Community Centers and Admin offices are closed one day - July 15 -- All parks and pools are open regular hours.

Following weeks of conversations, engineering consultations, and brainstorming, Asheville Parks & Recreation is happy to announce that Malvern Hills Pool will open on Saturday, July 2, at 11 a.m.
At its June 28 meeting Asheville City Council passed the City Managers recommended budget with a 6 to 1 vote. The $217 million budget is based on internal work, community input and Council priorities, and reflects the long term strategies and continuation of the reimagining public safety process.
