How are we doing, as your City government? The City of Asheville is working with the National Citizen Survey™ company to find out.

The National Citizen Survey™ captures residents’ opinions on governance and participation, also drilling down to specific issues such as the built environment, community engagement, recreation and wellness, the economy, safety and mobility.

Asheville’s last citizen survey was conducted in 2015. You can find the results here.

Residents selected at random for a scientifically sound result received their survey by mail.

Now Asheville residents not randomly selected to participate in this year’s city survey can still have their opinions heard.

The opt-in survey is posted on the City of Asheville website at this link:
http://bit.ly/Asheville2018survey The survey will be open through June 25.

What will the City do with the results? National Citizen Survey will compare and analyze the 2018 results with the 2015 results and provide the metrics comparison. This will help guide the City’s operational planning, help to determine project prioritization and resource allocation.
