Want to keep your young football player sharp during the time of no sports and social distancing?  Want to start developing skills for the future?  Asheville Parks & Recreation is offering a safe way to make that happen while keeping our community healthy.

We’re offering a Youth Football Skills Training program that includes drills and organized activities led by coaches, utilizing a no-contact method while maintaining distance. The four-week programs are designed for ages 9 through 14.  The programs begin July 20 and 22 and will be held at Memorial Stadium from 7 until 8:30 p.m.

Programs are FREE, but advance registration is required because space is limited.  Sign up for Mondays, sign up for Wednesdays, or sign up for both!

Go to www.avlrec.com to register or contact Asheville Parks & Recreation Athletic Director Bruce Hooks at bhooks@ashevillenc.gov for more information.
