Asheville has a new Neighborhood and Community Engagement Manager

Brenda Mills will officially begin in the role of Neighborhood and Community Engagement Manager on September 25. Brenda brings decades of experience, knowledge and enthusiasm to this role and will continue to strengthen the relationship between neighborhoods, City government and community groups.

Brenda most recently served as an Economic Development Specialist within the Community and Economic Development Department of the City where she, among many other duties, is staff support for the Public Art Board and manages the Minority Business Program.
