Asheville Asks: Are there more decorations downtown?

We get a lot of community interest in holiday decorations.  This year, the City is pleased to let you know through a collaboration with the Downtown Association, and some quick holiday magic from local company Winter Star, Prichard Park is lighting up the night sky now through January 31, 2024.

The illumination of Pritchard Park with a holiday lights display will brighten the heart of Downtown through January, bringing light and joy to the community throughout the holiday season.

This year’s holiday lighting is made possible by the generous support of the Trina Mullen Foundation, along with contributions from surrounding businesses. The combined efforts underscore a shared commitment to celebrating the season and fostering a warm, welcoming atmosphere in our vibrant city center.

Residents and visitors are invited to stroll through the beautifully lit park and experience the ambiance that these lights bring to Asheville’s Downtown area. This initiative is not just about spreading holiday cheer; it’s also a call to support local businesses. The City of Asheville, along with our  Asheville Downtown Association partners encourages everyone to embrace the spirit of the season by shopping, dining, and enjoying all that Downtown Asheville has to offer.
