The Asheville Police Department works to identify areas in the city where crashes happen most often. We aim to make these roads safer in two ways:

  1. Working with the NCDOT and City Traffic Engineering to improve how roads are built.

  2. Sending officers to specific areas to stop dangerous driving and enforce motor vehicle laws.

We encourage community members to report safety concerns. If you notice a problem area, you can help us by submitting a formal request.
