The Asheville City Channel is the government access cable channel for the City of Asheville, North Carolina. The Asheville City Channel serves cable subscribers throughout the city on Charter Cable Channel 193. We reach approximately 21,000 households in the City of Asheville and approximately 35,000 additional households in adjacent surrounding areas.

The mission of the Asheville City Channel is to provide City residents and visitors with factual and non-editorial information concerning city government services, programs, and activities. The channel focuses on making information about city services and programs more accessible to citizens, businesses, and visitors in Asheville.

The Asheville City Channel Live Stream has been updated to use one of the most common streaming formats for compatibility with most desktop and mobile video players. Playback of the stream requires a browser or device supporting the H.264/MPEG-4 video standard.
